"Growing up in Turkey, I was exposed at a young age to the sacred and age-old tradition of jewelry as protection. From gold evil eye pins and coral cornicello horns to silver turtle shell pendants, we were adorned with pieces, often passed down, that served to protect and attract.

These symbols of protection, luck and remembrance and the sentimental and nostalgic approach to adornment taught me early on that jewelry could be both profoundly meaningful and beautifully expressive. That belief is at the heart of everything I create."

Form is as deliberate as meaning. While Selin draws meaning from ancient symbols, myths, and stories, her approach to design is informed by a visual memory built over years of roaming and observing. Influences range from the geometry of Bauhaus and Art Deco to forms encountered in museums, galleries, city streets, and the natural world.

design language

Our design language is built on contrast. Fluid curves alongside clean lines, fullness and negative space, rich texture against smooth metal, the feminine and masculine. The result is a sense of balance, between opposing forms, textures, and ideas.

from idea to form

Every piece begins with an idea, then evolves through a considered process of sketching, refinement, and experimentation. Hand drawings give way to computer-aided design, allowing us to fine-tune proportion, scale, and structure before a piece is brought to life. Stones are sourced individually from a trusted network of dealers, chosen for their color, character, and the way they complement the design. At every stage, each decision is deliberate, from the curve of a form to the placement of a stone.

Each piece is made with care and meticulous attention to detail in New York City by artisans who are masters of their craft. We use responsibly sourced stones and recycled precious metals wherever possible, and carefully oversee every stage of production. The result is heirloom-quality jewelry, made slowly and meant to last a lifetime.
