If you have been inspired by our collections and are in search of a special piece, we can create it for you. Whether you are looking to customize an existing style, create a one-of-a-kind piece, or repurpose family heirlooms, you will work exclusively with Selin to bring your vision to life. Custom work begins at a minimum budget of $3,500.

The Inspiration

The first step in designing a custom piece with SELIN KENT is getting to know you. We start by understanding your story, your vision and inspiration. What is the intention behind the piece? Are there pieces we've designed in the past that you've loved? Which settings, stone colors, types, and cuts do you gravitate to? The more developed your vision board, the better.

Design

Once we have a clear design direction and a sense of which components will be incorporated into the final piece, our team will provide you with a price range.

Based on your direction and our guidance, we will provide you with sketches so you can begin to visualize your custom piece. This step begins with an initial sketch which can be reworked and reimagined until it is exactly right.

Sourcing

Once the concept and design is approved, we'll source stones and assist you in choosing the best one for your piece. Stones you already own can be repurposed into new settings, or we can help you source the perfect ethically mined or cultivated diamond or gemstone to match your vision.

CAD & Production

After both the design and stones are approved, we'll create a computer-aided design (CAD) for your approval. Once the CAD is approved, we begin to bring your piece to life. Every piece is crafted in by our team of expert artisans in New York City, where each detail is carefully considered and executed with precision and care. The result: a one-of-a-kind jewel infused with your story, designed to be treasured for generations.
