Selin Kent's emerald necklace collection includes pendant and drop styles in solid 14K gold, each made with natural emeralds selected individually for their character. Some pieces use the stone in a clean bezel setting that puts nothing between the color and the eye; others incorporate the emerald into a more considered design alongside diamonds or gold detail. The Clea is the quietest: a single natural emerald in a clean bezel, suspended on a fine snake chain at the collarbone. The Defne pairs a white diamond with a small emerald drop, the contrast between the two stones creating something more considered than either would be alone. Then there is the Anka Ascending — a large-scale sculptural piece that wears the emerald as an anchor within a form drawn from mythology and transformation. And the Khepri Scarab Choker, where the ancient Egyptian scarab holds the stone at the centre of the design, the emerald deepening a piece already charged with meaning.
