Anka Rising is inspired by the shared archetype of three mythological birds across three civilizations - the Persian Simurgh, the Anka of pre-Islamic and Arab legend, and the Phoenix of Ancient Greece. These pieces are made to mark meaningful moments of transition and transformation and to honor the self that emerges on the other side.

The pendant suspends from a sleek omega chain at choker length and is the perfect balance between structured and flexible. The emerald rests at the point where the pendant attaches to the chain. Negative space between the wings and body gives the piece an architectural quality that is both ancient and completely modern.
